Yesterday, Saving Abel made a stop at the Best Buy in Roseville for a in-store performance and autograph signing.
The band is out supporting the release of their second album Miss America, which came out on Tuesday.
Miss America is the follow-up to Saving Abel's breakthrough self-titled debut album, which saw success with chart topping singles "Addicted", "18 Days" and "Drowning (Face Down).
At the Best Buy stop, the Mississippi rock band sat down for a short set that not only included songs off of Miss America but a few of their hits as well.
New songs "The Sex Is Good" and "Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood)" went over just as well as "18 Days" and "Addicted".
The band opened with the bluesy "In God's Eyes" and even threw in a cover of Creedence Clearwater's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?".
Before "The Sex Is Good" vocalist Jared Weeks talked about it not being a kid-friendly song but that "Hell it's the reason we have kids anyways!".
Weeks also took the time to thank local rock station the WRIF for supporting them and playing their new single "Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood).
After their performance, the crowd lined up to purchase the new album and then lined up to meet the band and get it signed.
On Sunday, June 13, Saving Abel will headline a post-race concert following NASCAR’s Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). The week-end of August 13-15 they will return to MIS to perform as featured talent for the Show Me the CARFAX Weekend.
